An encounter, an idea, a journey… these are the origins of exhibition events. Le 19 Paul Fort is a kind...
CVL has received a major recognition of its heritage. The CLOPES 8 floor lamp, designed by José Lévy, has been officially added to the Mobilier National collections following the 2026 acquisition campaign. This rare distinction recognizes both the excellence of contemporary design and French craftsmanship.
The inauguration took place on Tuesday, January 27, at the Mobilier National’s Réserve Perret, an iconic venue dedicated to the conservation and transmission of the state’s furniture heritage, located at 1, rue Berbier-du-Mets, Paris 13th arrondissement.
Through this acquisition campaign, the Mobilier National reaffirms its historic role: to actively support the ecosystem of artistic crafts, encourage contemporary creation, and ensure that today’s works become part of tomorrow’s heritage. Selected for their formal excellence, quality of execution, and cultural significance, the 60 pieces chosen this year, from 39 designers, are intended to furnish the Republic’s iconic locations, thus helping to shape the aesthetic framework of the State.
CLOPES 8 embodies a whole vision of French design: an object that is both functional and expressive, where precise design dialogues with the nobility of the material and the rigor of artisanal craftsmanship. Its entry into the Mobilier National ensures that this creation will remain part of the living history of French design and heritage.
